Josh Brotemarkle

Josh Brotemarkle grew up in northern Anoka County graduating from St. Francis High School (1997). He is also a United States Air Force Veteran (1998-2002). He graduated from Chapman University the same year he completed his initial enlistment and then matriculated to the University of Minnesota Law School (class of 2006). Upon admission to the bar, Josh practiced law at boutique litigation firms where he tried cases, and advised a variety of corporate clients on a broad range of legal matters. In 2016, Josh became the CFO | General Counsel of LS Black Constructors, Inc. The company's revenues grew from approximately $35MM in 2016 to more than $100MM in 2021. Josh wore many hats during the company's growth, and successfully built out the finance, accounting, human resources, and IT departments. He also implemented a new ERP system, a CRM solution, and defined operations' processes for efficiency and appropriate financial controls.
