Senior Director, DoD Business Development – DoD/SOF (m/f/x)

Position

An exciting opportunity for a driven and mission focused individual to lead the strategy and
execution for Dedrone’s market penetration and dominance in the DoD CsUAS market. Dedrone
is seeking an experienced, and high-energy DoD Senior Business Development Director with a
deep understanding of the DoD/SOF Community CsUAS mission and mission support
requirements, and the ability to successfully position Dedrone’s market leading CsUAS
capabilities to meet those requirements with key DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head of Dedrone Defense, the candidate will work closely with key
stakeholders in Dedrone Management, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Professional
Services, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to identify, capture, deploy, and
support new customers within assigned accounts.
• Lead presentations for Dedrone solutions providing overview of Dedrone capabilities
including “Why Dedrone” capability differentiators.
• Ability to explain specific differentiators in the DedroneTracker C2 AI/ML enhanced
sensor fusion architecture.
• Develop business development strategy and plan for DoD.
• Manage industry OEM and System Integrator partnerships needed to provide end to end
CsUAS solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Identify longer term opportunities and shape requirements toward Dedrone solutions.
• The ideal candidate has relevant mission experience with a deep understanding of the
CsUAS mission, mission requirements, and key stakeholders.
• Gains knowledge and insight to Customer's business priorities and challenges and
propose Dedrone solutions to address these needs.
• Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the space.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery
of products and services.
• This role may require up to 50% travel

Qualifications

• DoD SOF community background.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated prior success in DoD Business Development.
• Understanding of DoD program acquisition and funding, including OTA based
acquisition.
• Ability to present complex technical solutions to Executive and Technical audience.
• Confident in Public Speaking
• Active DoD Security Clearance
• Prior experience with the CsUAS problem domain and supporting technology desired.
• DC based desired.
