Regional Sales Director Middle East, Africa, Turkey And Asia Pac at Dedrone

Sam Husseini has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Sam began their career in 1996 as the Technical Sales and Implementation Development Manager at PTC. In this role, they were a leader and focal point for all channel technical issues, conflicts, and activities in the region, and managed 92 cross-functional reseller technical applications engineers. Sam was also accountable for the sales performance of the reseller technical team World Wide. In 2004, they moved to INFOCAD S.A. as the Technical Sales Operations Director, where they were responsible for penetrating sales into the emerging geographies (Middle East and Pakistan). Sam led the entire technical team of nine and 16 indirect reports. In 2008, they joined Intergraph (UK) Ltd. as the Business Development Director (EMEA and India). Sam'sresponsibilities included developing software sales in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, and they led a team of four. From 2009 to 2014, Sam was the Chairman and CEO/Owner of LionHeart Corporation. In this role, they oversaw the Management and Leadership direction of LionHeart Group and LionHeart3D, and oversaw the documentation and scanning of built heritage sites throughout the Middle East and Africa. In 2014, Sam joined FARO Technologies as the Middle East and Africa Regional Channel Business Development Manager. In this role, they took over a market that had almost no presence for FARO to a market where FARO was the number one brand in 3D Laser Scanning for construction, heritage and forensic documentation. Sam added 15 new distributors, developed them, motivated them and helped them build business plans to grow their companies. In 2020, Sam joined Dedrone as the Regional Sales Director. Sam'score responsibilities included Partner recruitment and onboarding, contract management, business planning, capacity planning, profitability assessment, business compliance, access activation and support, systems and sales enablement, certifications, marketing and event management, funds, rebates and incentives allocation, corporate programs implementation, and corporate communications.

Sam Husseini obtained their High School Diploma from Glenbard South Highscool in 1987-1988. Sam then attended the University of Iowa from 1989-1994 and earned a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering. Sam continued their studies at the University of Iowa from 1994-1996, where they received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2002-2003, they attended Friesen, Kaye and Associates (www.fka.com) and earned an Instructional Techniques certificate in Instructional Techniques, Designing Instruction, and Managing the Training Function. In 2007, they attended Stucki Leadership-Teambuilding AG and earned a Facilitator certificate in Leadership and Team Building Strategies.
