PayGroup by Deel is seeking skilled DevOps professionals to enhance our infrastructure and streamline our internal operations. This role will focus on optimizing our systems, automating processes, and ensuring smooth deployment pipelines to support our organization's growth and efficiency.

What you will do at PayGroup by Deel

• Optimize the infrastructure to support internal operations and client services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
• Configure and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure the security and reliability of systems and environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the DevOps domain to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of DevOps experience
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Containerization: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services like EC2, S3, Azure DevOps, GCP Deployment Manager, etc.
• Version Control Systems (VCS): Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
• Scripting and Programming: Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Go for automation and tool development.
• Security: Understanding of security best practices in the context of DevOps, including knowledge of network security, encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks like Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Database Administration: Basic knowledge of database administration and SQL, including database setup, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and system administrators.
• Agile and DevOps Methodologies: Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, understanding Agile principles, and participating in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the DevOps domain.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
