Matheus Bitarães de Novaes is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Team Lead for the PEO PSO team at Deel since June 2023, Matheus focuses on scaling the PEO solution for improved onboarding. Previously, Matheus was a Senior Back-End Engineer at Deel, contributing to the successful launch of the PEO solution. Other notable experiences include software engineering roles at Draft, where Matheus contributed to the launch of AI-driven products, and at americanas s.a., where Matheus worked on a high-performance search engine. Matheus has also held positions at FCA Latam, Omnilogic, and various internships that highlight a solid foundation in engineering and optimization processes. Matheus holds a master's degree in Computational Intelligence from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and has furthered education with degrees in systems engineering and mechatronics.
