Gregory Delaune has a diverse work experience in the fields of environmental sustainability, clean technology, and urban innovation. Gregory is currently the Executive Director and Co-founder of Deep Blue Institute, an organization that focuses on environmentally regenerative technology deployment for sustainable economic development and disaster risk reduction.

Prior to this, Gregory served as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Urban Innovation Exchange (UIX Global), where they provided consulting services for innovation ecosystem development and helped accelerate the implementation of smart city and green city technologies. Gregory was also a Cleantech Greentech Deal Flow Scout for the Greentech Cleantech SIG of the Band of Angels Venture Fund, where they researched investment opportunities in green economy innovation.

Gregory has been involved in technology partnerships for both The Seasteading Institute and its startup spinoff, Blue Frontiers. Gregory'swork focused on public-private partnerships, technology acceleration, and sustainable economic development models.

Additionally, Gregory served as the Director of Business Development for Cleantech Open, the world's largest accelerator for cleantech startups. Gregory was involved in various ecosystem-scale projects and strategies to expand the organization's impact nationally and globally.

Before their involvement in the clean technology sector, Gregory founded and directed ForeFront Creative Solutions Laboratory, providing consulting services for sustainable development and residential living. Gregory also held roles as an Urban Planning and Design Consultant for Eco-Polis.cs and as an Education and Outreach Coordinator for Bay2Rio+20.

Gregory's work experience demonstrates their expertise in leveraging public-private partnerships, innovation ecosystem development, and sustainability solutions for the benefit of communities and the environment.

Gregory Delaune attended St. Thomas Academy for an unknown period of time. Gregory then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1991. Following that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of City Planning degree with a focus on Urban Design. In 2007, Gregory pursued further education at the University of Ferrara, graduating in 2008 with a Master's Degree in Sustainable Planning and Development. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained certifications as a Certified Planner (AICP) from the American Institute of Certified Planners in September 2003 and as a Certified Landscape Architect (CLARB) from the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards in March 2003.
