Carolina Belver Aguilar

Senior Scientist Project Lead at Deep Detection

Carolina Belver Aguilar has extensive experience in the field of physics and research. Carolina currently holds the position of Senior Scientist Project Lead at Deep Detection S.L., where they are responsible for running physics studies that establish the company as a leader in the food inspection sector. Prior to this, Carolina worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at LHEP University of Bern from 2019 to 2020. Carolina also served as a Research Assistant at CERN from 2015 to 2018. Carolina's earlier experience includes working as a PhD Student and Research Technician at Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC). During their PhD, they focused on the R&D of striplines for beam extraction, successfully designing and collaborating in the fabrication and testing of prototypes. Additionally, for their Master's thesis, they contributed to the design and validation of a Beam Position Monitor for hadrontherapy facilities.

Carolina Belver Aguilar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Accelerator Physics, which they obtained from the University of Valencia in 2015. Carolina also completed their Master's degree in Advanced Physics at the same institution in 2010. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2009.
