Luis Afonso

Luis Afonso is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently employed at Deep Sea Electronics Ltd since January 2023. Prior to this, Luis worked at Critical Software from July 2019 to December 2022, progressing from Intern to Project Engineer I while contributing to projects at Bombardier Transportation, now Alstom Projects. Luis's earlier experience includes serving as a board member of the Robotics Club at Universidade de Coimbra, where involvement spanned over five years, and working as a freelance developer for Grupo Brastan, focusing on embedded systems. Additionally, Luis provided support to the Texas Instruments Tiva E2E community as a member of the MVP program. Education was completed at Universidade de Coimbra, culminating in a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2021.
