B. Kerim Aramyan-Tshimanga has held a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Polymers and Organic Solids. In 2011, they were a Case Manager at the Isla Vista Tenants Union - Associated Students. In 2012, they worked as a Math/Science Tutor at UCSB Campus Learning Assistive Services and as a Research Intern at the Center for Energy Efficient Materials - a U.S. Dept. of Energy Frontier Research Center. In 2016, they were a Set Theory Workshop Instructor at River Oaks Academy Charter and a Data Scientist & Machine Learning Engineer independently. Finally, from 2017 onwards, they have been a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and a Machine Learning Engineer at Deep 6 AI, where they have been responsible for researching and implementing machine/deep learning, graph, and statistical methods for clinical language processing and healthcare data science, as well as contributing and maintaining production systems for enrichment & ingestion of patient medical records with deep learning and rule-based approaches, representation of medical conceptual entities, patient/cohort matching logic for clinical trial criteria, backend flows, and model evaluation.

B. Kerim Aramyan-Tshimanga attended UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Physics. B. Kerim also obtained four certifications from Coursera: Convolutional Neural Networks (November 2017), Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (September 2017), Neural Networks and Deep Learning (September 2017), and Structuring Machine Learning Projects (September 2017).
