Kiran Kamity

Kiran Kamity is the Founder and CEO of DeepFactor, a company that provides software for developers to automatically instrument their code for security and observability. Kiran previously served as the Head of Product and Senior Director for Container & OpenStack Offerings at Cisco from September 2016 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating various Cisco container software efforts, creating the Cisco Container Platform, and leading the Contiv team & initiative.

Prior to Cisco, Kamity was the Founder and CEO of ContainerX Inc from April 2015 to August 2016. ContainerX was acquired by Cisco in August 2016 and became part of the Cisco Private Cloud Software Group (CPSG).

Kiran Kamity did their schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and then pursued a B.Tech in Materials Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Kiran then went on to do an MS in EE from Stanford University.
