Aigli Korfiati

Aigli Korfiati has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of machine learning. Aigli is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at DeepLab. Prior to this, Aigli held roles such as Product Development & Support Manager at InSyBio and Researcher and machine learning engineer at the University of Patras, the Computer Technology Institute and Press Diophantus, and TEI of Western Greece. During their time at the University of Patras, Aigli also worked as a software engineer. Their work experience spans from 2012 to the present.

Aigli Korfiati completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras between 2006 and 2011. Aigli then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2014. Following this, Aigli enrolled in the University of Patras for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Informatics, which they pursued from 2016 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Aigli obtained a certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals from Microsoft in April 2022. Aigli also completed a certification in the Software Development Lifecycle Specialization from Coursera in December 2020.
