Al-Hussain Sawlan

Al-Hussain Sawlan is an experienced project officer currently working at DeepRoot Consulting since March 2020. Previously, Al-Hussain served as a senior project consultant at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue from May 2021 to September 2022 and held the position of program manager at Musaala For Human Rights from January 2018 to March 2021. Al-Hussain's background includes roles as a programs associate at the Center for Civilians in Conflict, a field research assistant at Mwatana for Human Rights, and a food security and livelihood assistant at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Additional experience includes working as a storekeeper at Doctor Humanitarian Organization, a pharmaceutical sales representative at DEEF Pharmaceutical Industries Co., a conference management officer at Youth Opportunities Conference, and a project assistant for the UN Migration Agency. Al-Hussain holds a degree in Pharmacy, earned between 2010 and 2013.
