Jakub Pachocki

Jakub is a PhD student researching convex optimization methods at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is the world champion in Google Code Jam 2012 and won second place in the following three famous programming competitions: ACM ICPC World Finals 2012 (gold medal), TopCoder Open 2012 and Facebook Hacker Cup 2013. He used to work at Facebook on Machine Learning infrastructure. Furthermore, Jakub is an active contributor to deepsense.ai R&D team, which focuses on Deep Learning.
