Data Scientist at deepsense.ai

Paweł Olszowiec has been working in the field of data science since 2011. Paweł began their career as a member of the Student Council Organization at Jagiellonian University, where they were also a teacher for the Mathematical Circle for High School Students. In 2015, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, teaching courses in Python, Stochastic Simulations in R, MATLAB, Ordinary Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, Probability and Statistics (for Computer Science Students), Introduction to Numerical Analysis, Algebra IV (Introduction to homological algebra), and Real Analysis. In 2018, they became a Senior Specialist at the National Centre for Nuclear Research, where they worked as a Python Programmer, Data Scientist, and Mathematical Modeller. In 2019, they were a Python Instructor at Kids Code Fun and a Machine Learning Engineer and Team Lead at Comarch, where they supervised a team of four Computer Science 3rd year students from MIM UW and worked on topics such as Reinforcement Learning for Fraud Prevention, Wild NLP, Recommendation Systems based on Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning, Demand Forecasting, Customers' Segmentation, Churn Prevention, and Time Series Analysis. In 2021, they became an AI/ML Senior Developer at esportsLABgg, and in 2022 they began working as a Data Scientist at both deepsense.ai and PredictWatch.

Paweł Olszowiec began their educational journey in 2008 when they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pure Mathematics at Jagiellonian University. Paweł then completed a Bachelor of Science - BS in Physics at Jagiellonian University in 2012. In the same year, they also completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Mathematics (with courses in Computer Science at the Institute of Computer Science). In 2014, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Pure Mathematics at Jagiellonian University and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Paweł Olszowiec has obtained a number of certifications from Coursera. These include the Natural Language Processing Specialization in November 2020, Apply Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Build Better Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) in January 2021, and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Specialization in January 2021. Paweł also obtained certifications in Build Basic Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Natural Language Processing with Attention Models, Natural Language Processing with Probabilistic Models, Natural Language Processing with Sequence Models, and Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces in December 2020.
