Piotr Tempczyk

Piotr Tempczyk has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Piotr is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of Deeptale.ai, where they lead the development of AI-based software solutions for creating personalized books for children. Prior to this role, Piotr was a Ph.D. Candidate and Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw, where they conducted research in probabilistic machine learning and taught various machine learning topics.

Piotr also worked as a Researcher and Chairman at the Polish National Institute for Machine Learning, where they conducted research, supported young researchers, and managed the institute's foundation. Piotr was also a Co-Founder of Dywizjon404.pl, contributing to the development of tools for automatic war-related misinformation detection using AI technologies.

Additionally, Piotr has held roles such as Scientific Advisor and Head of AI at AI Clearing, where they led a team in developing AI-based tools for construction-site drone surveillance, and as the Head of AI at SonarHome, where they spearheaded the research and development of tools for automatic property valuation and database deduplication.

Prior to these roles, Piotr worked as a Senior Deep Learning Engineer at Sigmoidal and as the AI Research Lead at Daftcode, where they focused on developing AI-based face authentication tools and led a team in developing an AI-based face authentication tool for security applications. Piotr also served as a Lead Data Scientist at IIIT Innovation In IT, developing predictive models for advertising campaign optimization, and as a Data Scientist at New Media Ventures, conducting research on user behavior for churn analysis and advertisement targeting.

Throughout their career, Piotr has demonstrated expertise in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, leveraging their skills to develop innovative solutions and share knowledge through teaching and mentorship.

Piotr Tempczyk began their education at XIV LO im. Stanisława Staszica in Warsaw. However, no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. Following that, they attended the University of Warsaw from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Piotr continued their education at the University of Warsaw from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics.
