Saumit Paul has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. In 2018, they were a Working Committee Member, Managing Committee Member, and President at Chords & Co., Manipal's biggest music community and club. In 2019, they were an Organizer for The Manipal Conclave and Proshow 2020 at Revels, MIT Manipal. In 2020, they were a Machine Learning Intern at Prime Focus Technologies, and in 2021 they were a Data Science Intern at iQGateway. Currently, they are an Associate Data Scientist at DeepTek and an Analytics & Automation Intern at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they have developed a Power BI Dashboard to visualize change in working patterns of employees in Hybrid and Remote work settings, built and maintained a Data Pipeline and SQL Database on Azure, and performed data wrangling on multiple data points fed from the Task Mining API.

Saumit Paul's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Delhi Public School - Bopal, Ahmedabad from 2016 to 2018, where they studied CBSE Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer Science. Saumit also attended Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School, Thane from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai in November 2019, as well as Python Data Structures, Python For Everybody, and What is Data Science? from Coursera Course Certificates.
