Wassim Kassem

Wassim Kassem has worked for a variety of companies since 2010. Wassim began as a Lab Instructor for the American University of Beirut in 2010, then became a Research Assistant for the same company in 2011. In 2012, they became a PhD researcher for the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and in 2016 they were a Postdoctoral Researcher for CEA. From 2018-2019, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher for INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon and Self-employed. In 2019, they became a Teaching Professional for ECAM Lyon and a Director and Instructor for International College. Currently, they are a Physics Simulation Engineer for DeepX, Inc. and a PaLecturer for the Lebanese American University.

Wassim Kassem began their educational journey in 2005 when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the American University of Beirut. Wassim then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Physics from the same university, which they completed in 2012. Afterward, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from CentraleSupélec in 2015. In 2021, they earned a certification in Fundamentals of Deep Learning from NVIDIA.
