Lisa Carnes Smith

Lisa Carnes Smith is an experienced educator currently serving as the K-5 Mathematics Instructional Support Specialist at Deer Park School District since August 2014. Previously, Lisa held the position of President at the Deer Park Education Association from 2010 to 2015, and served as the LAP Math Program Coordinator at Deer Park Middle School from August 2007 to June 2014, after working as an Advanced Math Teacher at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. Lisa holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Eastern Washington University, a Teaching Certification in Reading from Gonzaga University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice from the University of Washington.
