Brian Killgore

Brian Killgore serves as the Director of Communications & Community Engagement at Deer Valley Unified School District since July 2023. With extensive experience in educational communication roles, Brian previously held positions as the Director of Communications & Community Relations at Piedmont Unified School District and Public Information Officer at Fremont Unified School District, where oversight involved significant public and media relations strategies for large student populations. Additional roles include Public Relations Director at Apache Junction Unified School District and owner of Little Fish PR, providing consulting services nationwide. Brian's career also encompasses public relations management within professional sports organizations, including the Harlem Globetrotters and the San Francisco 49ers. Educated with a BA in Communications/Broadcast Journalism from the University of Washington and an MA in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco, Brian brings a robust background in communications and community relations to each role held.
