John Filippi

John Filippi, Ed.D, SFO, currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations at Deerfield Public Schools District 109 since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2016 to December 2018, and teaching positions at Northbrook/Glenview School District #30, Chicago Public Schools, and Lake Zurich CUSD 95 from 2005 to 2011. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from DePaul University, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
