Paul W.

Paul W. is an experienced leader in cyber security and education, currently serving as the Head of Delivery for the Defence Cyber Academy at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom since September 2022. With a longstanding career in the Royal Air Force since May 2006, Paul W. has held significant roles including Cyberspace Officer and Head of Cyber Security, where responsibilities included leading cyber exercises and developing strategies for the RAF and UK Defence. Additionally, Paul W. has served as Career and Talent Manager, managing talent within the RAF's Cyber profession. Academic pursuits include a PhD candidacy at King's College London, complemented by advanced degrees in Air Power Studies, Cyberspace Operations, Information Technology/Computer Science, and Engineering Management from various institutions. Paul W. also held the position of Head of Information Systems & Cyber Security at NATO, leading a multinational team for NATO's Air Policing mission from September 2017 to September 2019.
