Cerys McGuinness has been serving as a Research Technologist at Defence Research and Development Canada since July 2015, contributing to the agency's mission of providing national defense support and enhancing public safety. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Research Assistant at DRDC in early 2014, and an Assistant Kinesiologist position at Sunnyside Foundation, Wellness Centre, in the summer of 2013, where a focus on facilitating exercise for older adults was emphasized. Cerys also worked as a Human Factors Consultant at HumanSystems Incorporated between August 2012 and February 2013, where the focus was on optimizing performance in complex systems. Cerys holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2015.
