Max Hlywa has extensive experience in the field of psychology with a focus on human-oriented technology. Currently serving as a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) since October 2011, Max specializes in operational and organizational dynamics, as well as personnel science and policy integration. Prior to this role, Max worked as a Research Assistant at Carleton University's HotSoft Lab and Human Oriented Technology (HOT) Lab from March 2007 to October 2011, engaging in projects related to serious games, multi-user interfaces, and security. Additionally, Max gained experience as a Student Researcher for the Department of National Defence in 2010, focusing on military pilot selection and training. Max holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Oriented Technology from Carleton University, obtained in 2010, and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field, completed in 2008.
