Michelle Wang has over 20 years of experience in the defense sector, currently serving as a Defence Scientist at DRDC since November 2003, specializing in computer network security, mobile satellite systems for military applications, and the design of ultra-wideband lightweight collapsible surveillance antennas. Michelle has contributed to projects involving location analytic intelligence and counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device development, as well as Tactical Data Link 16 Range Extension over Advanced Extremely High Frequency. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, where Michelle worked on IEEE802.11 and CDMA studies and taught programming and measurement equipment usage. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, both from Queen's University.
