Sarah Babbitt is a Research Engineer at Defence Research and Development Canada, with experience in developing advanced technical solutions and collaborating on international projects. Sarah served as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, supporting first-year engineering courses. Previously, Sarah worked as a Student Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada, where essential contributions included the development of an open-source Tracking Library for a multinational project. As Dry Lab Director for the Queen's Genetically Engineered Machine Team, Sarah led innovative biological modeling projects, culminating in recognition at the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition.
