Peter K.

Peter K. has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. Peter is currently working at DEFEND as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant and Training Practice Lead since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at QA Ltd as a Senior Cyber Security Trainer from August 2019 to November 2022. Before that, they were at Tallarn Tech LTD as a Secure Infrastructure Design/Build/Operate consultant from November 2017 to August 2019. Peter also worked at QA Ltd as a Cyber Security Technical Trainer from March 2015 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Service Operations at QinetiQ from January 2014 to January 2015. Peter started their career in the Civil Service as a Cyber Incident Response Manager from May 2011 to December 2013.

Peter K. earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in January 2023, and two instances of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in March 2021 and May 2021 respectively.
