Joseph Mercer is an IT Specialist currently employed by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency since September 2023, following a tenure at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where services were rendered in the same capacity from May 2022 to September 2023. Prior to these positions, Joseph Mercer served as Chief of Tactical Gaming for the Department of the US Army, providing expertise in First Person Simulations and integration of simulation technologies for military training and operations from August 2015 to May 2022. Joseph Mercer also held roles as a Communications Planning Specialist, IT Systems Specialist with the Department of the Navy, and Automated Intelligence Data Systems Specialist at Mobius Industries USA, Inc. The career began in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst from April 2004 to August 2011. Joseph Mercer holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Excelsior University.
