Joseph Mitchell

Joseph Mitchell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and military service. Currently serving as a Background Investigator at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency since March 2024, Mitchell previously held the role of Supervisory Human Resources Specialist with the US Navy from December 2019 to March 2024, where management of both civilian and military personnel was key to achieving high customer service standards. With earlier experience as a Dedicated Account/Business Leader at Schneider and a 20-year career in the US Navy culminating as a Chief Petty Officer, Mitchell has demonstrated strong leadership and operational management skills across diverse environments. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Post University, completed in June 2017.
