Matthew Blakley currently serves as the Deputy Regional Director at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) for the Central Region since October 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at the Defense Security Service, including Deputy Regional Mission Director, Assistant Regional Director, and Sr. Action Officer/Special Agent, where expertise in Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI) mitigation and International Security was developed. With a military background in the United States Marine Corps, Matthew served as Commanding Officer of an Engineer Company and held several engineering and operations positions. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Building Construction from Texas A&M University, a Certificate from the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard Kennedy School, and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
