Magda Rossmann is a seasoned professional in humanitarian and program management, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Programs at the International Rescue Committee since March 2024. Prior to this role, Magda held various significant positions at Save the Children International, including Regional Deputy PDQ Director for Ukraine and the Regional Refugee Response, Deputy Country Director for Programme Development & Quality in Afghanistan, and Senior Protection Technical Advisor for the Syria Response. Magda's earlier experience includes roles at HelpAge International as Global Adviser on Violence, Abuse & Neglect, as well as positions in community services, gender accountability, and interim humanitarian program coordination. Magda began the career as a Programme Officer at Panos London and served as a Project Assistant in the Republic of Congo with RPDH. Magda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Politics, and International Studies from the University of Warwick, a Master of Arts in International Politics and Human Rights from City St George’s, University of London, and a Diplôme in International Relations from Sciences Po.
