Shelby Scott

Shelby Scott is an experienced technical writer currently working at the Defense Cybersecurity Group since August 2020, where responsibilities include drafting and editing materials related to CMMC certification and managing website content. Previously, Shelby served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Grants Associate for Colorado Youth for a Change, focusing on grant research and proposal writing. Additional roles include leading the communications committee of the Title IX Advisory Council at Eckerd College, where Shelby also contributed significantly as a Writing Consultant and Peer Mentor. Shelby gained early experience as an education intern with Reef Relief and a client care coordinator assistant at Keller Williams Seven Hills Realty. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from Eckerd College.
