Director Of Media Relations at Defense Intelligence Agency

Dean Carter has extensive work experience in public affairs and communications. Dean served as the Director of Media Relations at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where they managed the public affairs program and oversaw media relations and news operations. Prior to that, they were the Director of Public Affairs at the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence, responsible for coordinating and managing public affairs actions for the organization. Dean also served as the Chief of Public Affairs at the United States Army Cadet Command, where they designed communication plans to promote ROTC and increase knowledge and support for the program. Before their roles in public affairs, Dean served in various positions in the US Army, including as Squadron Executive Officer and Troop Commander. Dean has also completed training at the US Army Command and General Staff College. Overall, Dean Carter has a strong background in military public affairs and leadership roles within the US Army.

Dean Carter obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Central Florida in 2003.
