Harry Makkar

Harry Makkar has extensive work experience in the field of SAP security and Governance Risk Compliance (GRC). Harry is currently working as the Governance Risk Compliance/SOD Lead at Defense Logistics Agency since 2021. Prior to this, they served as a SAP Security Analyst and GRC Administrator for the US Army from 2019 to 2021.

Before their role in the US Army, Harry worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Sr. Consultant & Lead Security/GRC BA for S4/HANA & FIORI from 2018 to 2019. Harry also has experience as a Sr. SAP Security & GRC Architect/Consultant at Hanesbrands Inc. from 2013 to 2018, and as a SAP Security & GRC Architect/Lead at Fossil from 2007 to 2013.

Harry Makkar has also worked at Avaya as a Sr. SAP Security Consultant in 2005, and at IBM as a SAP Security Architect in 2006. Harry started their career as a SAP Security Consultant at IBM Global Business Services from 2003 to 2005.

Harry Makkar attended the University of Rajasthan from 1984 to 1991. Harry obtained a degree in an unspecified field of study. Harry also has additional certifications including the SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BusinessObjects Access Control 10.0 from SAP, and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA, obtained in August 2019.
