Bart Schrum

Bart Schrum is an experienced broadcast engineer with a diverse career spanning several roles in the field of audio/video and broadcast technology. Currently serving in the Defense Media Activity since June 2019, Bart specializes in live production and satellite engineering. Previous positions include broadcast engineering at Voice of America and a technician production manager role at Defense Media Activity. Bart's expertise extends to system integration services for multiple agencies at Herman Integration Services, and extensive tenure at the Television - Audio Support Activity, where leadership capabilities were demonstrated as a technical supervisor overseeing a broadcast unit. Educationally, Bart holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
