James Allen

James Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James began their career at Siemens Infrastructure & Cities as a Senior Systems Specialist from 2000 to 2011 and then transitioned to the role of Software Engineer from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they worked at Clear Measure, Inc. as a Senior DevOps Engineer for a year before joining Volusion, LLC as a Cloud Engineer from 2016 to 2020. James then moved on to Teth, where they held the position of Senior Cloud Engineer from 2020 to 2021. After that, they worked at Contino as a Senior DevOps Consultant from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Defense Unicorns as a Unicorn Engineer, starting in March 2023.

James Allen has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computing Security from Rochester Institute of Technology. James also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield. In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications, including the HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (002) from HashiCorp in February 2023, the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in December 2021, and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in December 2021.
