Justin Passero has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Justin began their career in 1999 as a U.S. Marine in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle technician and achieving the rank of Corporal. Justin served in Iraq from February 2003 to May 2003. After leaving the military, Justin worked as a Senior Sales Associate at Circuit City, where they were responsible for the technology department and providing customer service. Justin then joined Ultimate Electronics as a Sales Associate, managing customers' home theater projects. Justin continued their sales career at Progressive Insurance as a licensed sales associate, specializing in car insurance. Justin consistently achieved top sales performance. Following this, they took on the role of Treasurer at the Kappa Sigma MU Alpha Chapter, overseeing chapter finances and managing various fundraisers. Justin also held a position as a Correctional Officer at the Colorado Department of Corrections, ensuring safety and security within the facility. Justin pursued further education at Regis University, where they were a student from May 2017 to August 2020. Most recently, Justin worked at Pax8 as a Partner Solutions Engineer, where they held the roles of Partner Solutions Engineer II and III. Currently, they are a Sales Engineer at DefensX starting from April 2023.

From 2009 to 2011, they attended Pueblo Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Psychology.

Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, they enrolled in Colorado State University Pueblo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology.

Finally, in the years 2017 to 2019, they attended Regis University and earned a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Terrorism.
