Arthur Cheong

Arthur Cheong has over 7 years of work experience in the finance and investment industry. Arthur began their career in 2013 as a Metals Market Risk at Cargill. In 2014, they joined BP as an Origination and then moved on to the Trader Development Programme in 2015. During this time, they also held positions as a Fuel Oil Trading Analyst, Associate Charterer, and Crude Oil Analyst. In 2019, they joined JST Capital as a Cryptoasset Trading Strategist and Zilliqa as Vice President of Growth & Strategy and a Strategy Consultant. In 2021 they became the Founding Council President for the dYdX Foundation, and in 2022 they became a Co-owner at Amber Lounge & Amber Hospitality Ltd. In 2020, they founded and became the CIO of DeFiance Capital, a leading Web3 & Crypto investment firm.

Arthur Cheong has a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and Entrepreneurship from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and SUEC and SPM from Chong Hwa Independent High School in the fields of Commerce and Social Sciences.
