Thomas McLure

Thomas McLure has extensive work experience in the technology and software development field. Thomas is currently working as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Defiance Digital since 2022.

Prior to that, Thomas had a long tenure at Levvel.io, where they held multiple roles between 2014 and 2021. Thomas served as the Client Solutions Principal and Senior Director, responsible for the full client lifecycle, including pre-sales, contracting, staffing, architectural support, and final delivery. Thomas also engaged with clients to determine engagement goals, timelines, and pricing. Before that, Thomas held the position of Director and Senior Consultant, focusing on data modeling, ETL, reporting, and real-time data analytics. Thomas led multiple teams in designing, building, deploying, and supporting client systems.

Previous to Levvel.io, Thomas worked at Nexgrid from 2010 to 2014, where they served as the Director of Software Development. Thomas was responsible for designing and implementing a high-performance message routing and processing system for wireless smart-devices. Thomas also managed a team of developers and oversaw the design, build-out, and support of new features.

Thomas McLure began their career at Red Hat in 2005, serving as a Project Manager and Technical Lead. Thomas provided architectural design, guidance, and best practices for development teams, managed project timelines and deliverables, and mentored junior developers. Thomas also mentored client developers on new technologies and methodologies.
