Maria Peralta Porras

Maria Peralta Porras is an experienced professional with a background in organizing, public health, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Guilford College Club Secretary at Define American since September 2019, Maria previously worked as a Union Organizer Intern at AFSCME DC 37 from June to August 2019, where responsibilities included member outreach and research on key legal cases. An internship at Pupusas For Education in the summer of 2018 involved public speaking, event coordination, and marketing strategy development.
