Dave Thorpe

Dave Thorpe, CPA, CGA, currently serves as the VP of Operations Management for Claims at Definity since August 2020. Prior to this role, Dave held various positions at Economical Insurance, including Interim VP and AVP of Operations Management and Planning, from June 2019 to August 2020. Dave's extensive experience also includes a decade at Tim Hortons, where roles spanned from Senior Director of Operations in Ontario to Senior Director of Financial Reporting. Earlier experience includes a role as Director of Financial Reporting at Stelco from September 2005 to January 2008. Dave Thorpe earned a diploma in Accounting and Business/Management from Sheridan College between 1996 and 1999.
