Alistair Rennie currently serves as the Head of Evidence at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where leadership of an interdisciplinary evidence team focuses on providing robust evidence to shape international environment policy and deliver environmental outcomes following EU Exit. Prior experience includes serving as an Economic Adviser, leading economic analysis in agri-environment and organics farming policy, as well as roles as an Economist at the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Department for Transport, where responsibilities encompassed economic analysis of renewable energy and transport infrastructure value. Alistair Rennie holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
