Salena Sewell

Salena Sewell is the Career & Reentry Manager at Defy Ventures, a role commenced in August 2023, focusing on overseeing the Defy NorCal Career & Reentry Program, providing support to formerly incarcerated individuals, and facilitating workshops and community events to assist in their reentry into society. Prior to this, Salena served as Employment Services Coordinator at Hamilton Families from March 2023 to August 2023 and as Employment Specialist Re-Entry at Episcopal Community Services from April 2021 to August 2023. Salena also has experience as a Research Interviewer at Corey Canapary & Glanis from August 2014 to April 2022, where responsibilities included conducting transportation studies for various transportation agencies.
