Dan Sloat

Dan Sloat is an experienced structural engineer currently serving as an Associate and project manager at Degenkolb Engineers in Seattle since June 2014. Prior roles within the company include Project Engineer and Design Engineer, starting as an entry-level structural engineer. Dan's earlier experience includes a Graduate Internship at Degenkolb Engineers, a Structural Internship at KPFF Consulting Engineers, and a Surface Water Internship with the City of Kirkland. Additionally, Dan contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Peer Tutor at Rice University, where a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering was obtained. A Master's degree in Structural Engineering was completed at the University of Washington.
