Laurie Johnston

Laurie Johnston holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

She knew she wanted to be some type of engineer because of her love for science and math. She was determined not to become a civil engineer since her Dad is one. She started as a Mechanical Engineering major but quickly determined that it wasn’t for her and alas, switched to civil (structural) engineering since those classes interested her more.
