Kelly Traut has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Kelly is currently the VP Enterprise Sales Leader at Degreed since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NovoEd as the VP Regional Enterprise Solutions, US, EMEA from 2020 to 2022. Kelly also held a position at EdCast as the Regional Vice President Enterprise Solutions & Sales NA from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they worked at Richardson as the Regional Vice President from 2012 to 2017. Kelly also has experience as a Director of Business Development at Simpler-Webb, Inc from 2008 to 2012 and at Banta from 2006 to 2008. Kelly served as the Sales Director, North America at Arvato Services from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Kelly had multiple roles at Dell, including as an Account Executive from 1991 to 2004, a Sales Representative from 1997 to 1998, and as an Executive Briefing Center Consultant and Corporate Events Manager from 1991 to 1997.

Kelly Traut has a diverse education history. Kelly began their higher education at the University of Central Missouri, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from 1984 to 1987. After a long gap, they returned to academia in 2011 and enrolled at the Texas McCombs School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

In 2013, Kelly attended Stanford University, focusing on Strategy Execution. The following year, in 2014, they obtained a Masters Certificate in Business from The George Washington University. During the same year, they also acquired the CMPM certification from George Washington University.

Continuing their education at The George Washington University School of Business, Kelly pursued an MBA degree with a concentration in Leadership and a special focus on Project Management. Kelly completed their MBA in 2016.

Kelly has also obtained various additional certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Sales Certified - Software as a Service Solutions from Richardson Sales Performance (2012), Search Engine Optimization Analyst from HubSpot (2010), EMC Proven Sales Accreditation Consolidation from EMC (2010), VMware VSP from VMware (2010), Strategic/Negotiations/Conceptual Selling from Miller Heiman, Inc (2004), and Effective Presentation Skills from Dale Carnegie (1996).

In their professional development, Kelly achieved NovoEd's "Presidents Club 2021" certification. Additionally, they have completed training in Preventing Workplace Harassment through Emtrain, although the specific dates of completion are not available.
