Kirill Temlyakov

Kirill Temlyakov has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Kirill holds a PhD in Computer Science and started their career as a PHD student at West Virginia University, where they worked on various research projects and taught classes.

Kirill then moved on to work at SimpleRelevance as the Head of Data Science, where they were responsible for implementing and maintaining machine learning models and predictive analytics engine. At Rise Interactive, which acquired SimpleRelevance, Kirill continued to work on implementing and maintaining machine learning models and business rules.

Kirill also worked at MAANA as a Data Science Development Engineer, where they successfully completed projects on NLP, routing optimization, and predictive maintenance. Kirill held various responsibilities, including tech lead projects, researching algorithmic approaches, implementing solutions, and deploying them to production.

Kirill later joined Marginal Unit, Inc. as a Senior Data Scientist and contributed to the company's projects during their tenure.

Currently, Kirill holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at Enverus, where they have worked on machine learning models and feature engineering, as well as the deployment pipeline. Kirill has made significant improvements to the existing solution.

In the future, Kirill will be joining Degreed as a Data Scientist starting from April 2023.

Kirill Temlyakov began their education journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance at the University of South Carolina in 2003. Following this, they went on to complete a Master's degree in Economics at the same university in 2007. Starting in 2008, Kirill enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Financial Economics at West Virginia University, where they remained until 2013. However, it is worth noting that they did not complete their Ph.D. and is considered an "All But Dissertation" (ABD) candidate in this field.
