Marcelo Martins Ramos has had extensive experience in various roles related to HR technology and project management. Marcelo began their career as an HR Business Analyst at Affiliated Computer Services in 2006. Marcelo then moved on to roles at Convergys, where they served as a Payroll Project Specialist and later as an HR Project Manager, leading payroll and time & attendance implementations for Latin American countries.

In 2008, Marcelo joined Gerdau as a Senior IT Technical Assessor, where they managed HR projects and provided support for SAP ERP systems. Marcelo also implemented Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll in SAP for a Gerdau Company.

In 2008, Marcelo returned to Convergys, this time as an HR Project Manager, responsible for payroll and time & attendance implementations in a global HRO project for a Fortune 500 customer.

From 2009 to 2012, Marcelo worked at EPI-USE as a Senior SAP HCM Project Manager, leading large SAP HCM implementations for multinational companies in industries such as consumer goods, oil & gas, and electronics. Marcelo also served as a SAP Technical Manager and SAP Testing/Integration Manager for Procter & Gamble projects in Latin America.

Marcelo joined Novartis in 2012 as a Global HRIT Service Delivery Integration Manager, where they acted as a strategic partner for global HR stakeholders, shaping HR and technology strategies. Marcelo was responsible for the development and management of the Global HR Technology Vision & Strategy, and they translated business goals into prioritized project portfolios.

In 2018, Marcelo joined Santander Brasil as the Head of HR Solutions & Systems, responsible for leading the team and driving innovation in HR technology. Marcelo also led the Global HR Transformation Project, implementing common global HR processes and introducing Workday as the global technology platform.

At H2R Services Consulting in 2019, Marcelo served as the Managing Director and HR Technology Lead, providing project and consulting services to multinational companies for the implementation of cutting-edge digital technologies. Marcelo led a major project for a global pharmaceutical company implementing an end-to-end solution through a single global service delivery cloud digital platform.

Since 2020, Marcelo has been with IBM as the LATAM Talent & Transformation Associate Partner, responsible for HR solutions and projects delivery.

In 2021, Marcelo took on the role of Director, Client Experience LATAM at Degreed, where they led the client experience functions for the LATAM region. Marcelo was later promoted to Director, Global Client Success, continuing their responsibilities in ensuring client success on a global scale.

- In 2017, Marcelo attended Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and obtained an Executive MBA degree in Management.

- In 2011, Marcelo participated in an Executive Management Program at the University of La Verne, focusing on advanced topics on Project Management.

- In the same year, Marcelo also received training at SAP Education's Human Capital Academy specifically in SAP.
