John Borum, Ed.D

John Borum, Ed.D has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a role as Admissions Counselor at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2003. John then moved to a role as Director of Transfer Admissions at Dallas Baptist University in 2006. In 2007, they took on two roles at First Baptist Church as Associate Pastor and Minister of Students & Worship. In 2010, they became Director - Baptist Student Ministries at Northeast Texas Community College. In 2016, they returned to Dallas Baptist University and held the roles of Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment, Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment, Dean of Spiritual Life, and Assistant Vice President for Enrollment. In 2022, they moved to enrollmentFUEL as Enrollment Campaign Project Manager. Currently, they are Vice President of Enrollment Strategies, Head of Engagement, and Director Of Partnerships at DegreeSight.

John Borum, Ed.D. completed a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Dallas Baptist University in 2018, specializing in Educational Leadership. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Dallas Baptist University in 2007, specializing in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration. John also completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2003. Recently, they obtained a Certificate from University of Southern California in 2021, specializing in Leadership in Enrollment Management.
