Houssem Assadi, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Houssem started their career as an R&D Engineer at NEMESIA from October 1995 to September 1998. Houssem then worked as a Software Engineer at BNF from October 1998 to July 2000. Following this, they joined France Telecom - Orange in August 2000 and held various roles including R&D Engineer from August 2000 to October 2002, Head of Customer Intelligence Skills Centre from November 2002 to June 2005, and finally as the Head of Security & Trusted Transactions R&D Department at Orange Labs from July 2005 to September 2012. In October 2012, Houssem Assadi became the C.E.O. and Cofounder of dejamobile. Additionally, since February 2019, they have been serving as the Chairman of the Board of FrenchTech Caen Normandy. Throughout their career, Houssem Assadi has demonstrated expertise in technical architecture, design, and development of technical solutions, particularly in the field of mobile transaction services.

Houssem Assadi, Ph.D. holds a Doctorate degree in Artificial Intelligence from Pierre and Marie Curie University, which was awarded between the years 1995 and 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from ENSTA Paris, specializing in Computer Science, between 1991 and 1994. In 1989, they completed their Preparatory class for high scientific schools (French "Classes préparatoires") at Lycée Louis-le-Grand.
