Akalvizhy Elanko

Akalvizhy Elanko is a systems engineer at DEKA Research & Development since March 2017. Previous roles include research assistant at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research, where coordination of three fMRI imaging studies took place, and at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, contributing to the development of an EEG-based brain-computer interface. Other experience includes a customer service representative position at TD, where client service and product knowledge were key, as well as an early research assistant role at Ryerson University focused on 3D modeling using acoustic microscopy. Akalvizhy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from McMaster University.
